Haglund's Deformity
Haglund’s deformity is an abnormality of the foot bone and soft tissues. It typically takes place on the back of the heel where the the Achilles tendon is located and causes this condition. The soft tissue that is near the back of the heel can become irritated when enlarged and the bony lump then rubs against rigid shoes. Haglund’s deformity often occurs when there’s frequent pressure placed on the back of your heels.
