Rheumatoid arthritis is considered to be a chronic inflammatory disorder that can affect many aspects of the body including your joints. Rheumatoid arthritis is considered to be an autoimmune disorder which occurs when your immune system mistakenly attacks your own body’s tissues including the joints, which causes the joint linings to swell and become painful.
