Sports Injuries

Ankle Sprains

An ankle sprain is a sports injury that occurs when the ankle rolls, twists, or turns in an abnormal way. This abnormal movement can cause a stretch or tear through the tough bands of tissue (ligaments) that help hold the ankle bones together. An ankle sprain can cause swelling, pain and limited range of motion.

A fracture is a broken bone. It can be anything as small as a crack to a complete brake.

Sesamoid Injuries

A Sesamoid injury can be anything from a fracture, injury or inflammation to the sesamoid bones that are found in the foot.

Achilles Tendonitis

Achilles tendonitis is the inflammation of the Achilles tendon, which connects the calf muscle to the heel bone.
