Sports Injuries

Ankle Sprains

An ankle sprain is a sports injury that occurs when the ankle rolls, twists, or turns in an abnormal way. This abnormal movement can cause a stretch or tear through the tough bands of tissue (ligaments) that help hold the ankle bones together. An ankle sprain can cause swelling, pain and limited range of motion.
