Dr. Smith

Dr. Audra Smith is originally from Dubuque, Iowa. She attended the University of Iowa and received her undergraduate degree in psychology. She spent the next four years receiving her podiatric education at the Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in North Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Smith did an additional 3 years of postdoctoral residency training in Chicago, Illinois at the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center with an emphasis on reconstructive foot and ankle surgery. During this time, she spent 6 weeks in Europe training with world-renowned orthopedic foot and ankle surgeons. She is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. She was also voted Best of Madison in 2020. Dr. Smith currently is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Surgery at the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics. She also serves as the medical director for podiatry at UnityPoint Health-Meriter Hospital.
